1 . What is the admission/
eligibility criterion at NIIM?
(a) Candidates applying for admission to the first
year of PGPM +MBA Program must have pursued at least
a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Program after 12 years
of formal schooling in any discipline.
OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after
10+2+3 scheme Note: Candidates appearing for the
final examination of Bachelor's / Post Graduate
Degree examinations may also apply.
(b) CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JC CAT score Admitted candidates
should have good CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JC CAT scores,
a good academic record, and a clear idea of why
they prefer NIIM for doing their PGPM, leadership
potential.
2. What is the minimum marks/grade I should
have at the Bachelors' level for me to apply for
admission?
There should be atleast 50% marks. However, selected
candidates are likely to have had a consistently
good academic record.
3. When do the admissions start?
Inviting applications for the admissions for July
Intake starts in March every year. For regular

4. What are the selection criteria and weightages
for admission at NIIM?
The selection criteria is based on the following
* CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JC CAT Score .....................................

* Group Discussion.............................................................................

* Academic Background (Including work experience)….
10%
Selection will depend on the cumulative score
obtained in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JC CAT, Academics,
GD and Personal Interview.
5. Does NIIM-SBA offer scholarships to the
students?
NIIM offers a number of scholarships to meritorious
students. The basic criteria for scholarship is
CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JC CAT score percentile and performance
in Group Discussion, Interview and Extempore.
6. Are there any attributes/parameters for
evaluation in GD/Interview, on the basis of which
I can prepare for NIIM-SBA?
Yes, to help in this way we can suggest that you
can prepare for your communication skills, leadership
ability and clarity of thoughts other then listening
and summarizing your ideas. For interview your
work experience and aptitude for management career
along with general awareness can help you.
7. Do you conduct Group Discussion & Personal
interviews only in Delhi ?
Yes at Delhi as well as in other selected centres.
8. Is the program approved?
yes the program approved by a U.G.C. recognized
University.
9. What is a day's schedule at NIIM - SBA?
Our day normally starts as early as 9.30 a.m.
and goes on till 6 p.m. with a mixture of academic
and extra-curricular inputs. The day remains hectic
with surprise tests, presentations, projects and
discussions on corporate case studies. Additionally
enthusiastic students also hone their skills by
volunteering in committees & clubs and participating
in inter-collegiate competitions
10. What are the specializations offered?
NIIM - SBA offers dual specialization to all its
students, as major & minor. You must select
the specialization based on your career plans. The
different specializations offered are:
Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Information
Technology, International Business, Retail Management,
Global Operations, Insuarance & Banking, Real
Estate & Constructions, Entrepreneurship Management
(The specialization subjects can be changed depending
upon the desire of the students to study any particular
subject).
11. From where can we get NIIM's forms?
Application packs are available from the admission
office, NIIM, New Delhi. It can also be downloaded
from our website: www.niim.in. Downloaded duly
filled application form can be sent to the admission
office along with requisite documents.
